He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery ( D.D.S. ) degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry and went on to complete the Advanced General Dentistry Residency Program at the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry. His training at UCSF covered a wide range of dental disciplines in advanced and complicated cases. His specialty at UCSF was in special care dentistry. This includes patients with systemic diseases, issues of aging, multiple medications, and behavioral issues. Alden also treated patients who were homebound and unable to travel for routine dental treatment. After eight years of private practice in general and cosmetic dentistry, Alden completed the Advanced Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine Residency Program at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Trained under the leadership of Dr. Glenn Clark of the USC's Center for Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine. During his training at USC, Alden also rotated at the USC Medical Center in head and neck surgery (ENT), internal medicine, geriatric medicine, radiation oncology, pain medicine, physical therapy, and neurology with extensive exposure in headaches and neuropathic pain. Alden also rotated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center focusing on orofacial pain and headaches. As part of his training at USC, Alden received extensive training at the Special Patient Care Clinic which provides advanced comprehensive dentistry for patients with severe medical, physical and mental problems, pre and post organ transplant patients, special needs patients, cancer patients, and immunocompromised patients (HIV/AIDS). His training also includes treating patients under IV sedation and in an operating room setting using general anesthesia for patients unable to receive treatment in a routine dental setting. Alden Suzui is a diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain and is eligible to take the American Board of Oral Medicine exam which he plan to take in April 2016. He is also the only ADA accredited residency trained specialist in oral medicine and orofacial pain in the state of Hawaii. Despite his love for oral medicine and orofacial pain, Alden still enjoys general and cosmetic dentistry. He is a frequent attendee of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry's annual convention and still tries to improve his skill in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through me."
